I’ve been at Tumblr for 2 years today.
The above image I’ve posted before. It was generated using our API to download photos from our featured tag list and then fed into a program to create a mosaic.
Neat huh?
Hey, My name is John. I work at Tumblr. I love software, tech and anything geeky. Follow me here or @codingjester.
Oh look. Tests. Go JC!
I just updated and released a new version of the tumblr_client gem, which includes the ability to use the lastest Faraday and our new publicly exposed likes route on the Tumblr API.
I’m extremely grateful for everyone who has been using this gem and appreciate anyone who has submitted pull requests to it. This time around the thanks should go to rleber and roboteti for their contributions to the gem.
Please feel free to contribute any code, feature suggestions or issues at any time here.
I make some weird ass apps with the Tumblr API when I get bored.
There is a reason why I’m not on the community outreach team.
Surprisingly, this branch was accurately named.
